Meet the Team
All of our classes are led by a Certified Master Level Instructor. With over 28 years of martial arts training and instruction, our father and son team brings expert-level experience in coaching, mentoring, and instructing students of all ages and abilities.
Certified by the World Taekwondo Federation, Master Mario is a 5th Degree Black Belt, Master Danny is a 4th Degree Black Belt, and Instructor Mike is a 2nd Degree Black Belt. Both Master Mario and Master Danny trained exclusively under Master Sinil, 6th Degree Black Belt and practitioner of Taekwondo for over 40 years. Master Sinil continues to participate in belt testing evaluations at Rose Hill Taekwondo and our schools meet frequently for training.
Our Black Belts are recognized as top-tier martial artists in over 188 countries worldwide. We follow teaching and program practices that are a reflection of worldwide standards and support the tenets of Taekwondo.
We regularly invite guest instructors such as Pro Boxer Phil D’Erasmo for special boxing classes to support our Kickboxing and Taekwondo programs.

FounderAfter practicing Taekwondo and Kickboxing for 28 years, Master Mario founded Rose Hill Taekwondo in 2018. Master Mario’s philosophy is rooted in authentic Taekwondo practices and instruction. He stresses traditional Taekwondo training methods with physical fitness, self-defense and always the practical application of Taekwondo.
His teaching credentials include:
• 5th degree Black Belt certified World Taekwondo Federation Master Instructor
• 20 years as Head Coach for Yi’s Taekwondo Center’s competition team which producing innumerable tri-state champions and national level competitors on Junior and Senior levels,
• Level 1 coaching certified
• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Performance Enhancement Specialist
• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) Youth Exercise Specialist

Master Level Instructor, 4th Degree Black BeltTrained throughout his life with Master Sinil, Master Danny brings expert level martial arts weapons instruction. During his competitive sparring season, he won Gold in the AAU Connecticut State Championship and Bronze in the NJ State Championship. His particular skill set with both nunchucks and Bo Staff are a valuable addition to a well-rounded Taekwondo training journey.

Instructor
Mike is a 2nd Degree Taekwondo Black Belt, a Brown Belt in Judo, and active sparring instructor with Rose Hill Taekwondo. Mike brings considerable technical skills to our sparring program, preparing students for competition with high-intensity drills and fitness conditioning, real-life sparring sessions, and critical thinking.
